Terms of Service

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Service (hereinafter "TOS") govern access to and use of the BeeFiny application and its associated website (hereinafter the "Service"), published by BeeFiny.

By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these TOS without reservation. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease all use of the Service.

2. Definitions

  • Service: Refers to the BeeFiny application, its algorithms, and its web and mobile interfaces.
  • User: Any natural or legal person accessing the Service.
  • Third-Party Content: Articles, images, and headlines from external news sources (newspapers, blogs) aggregated by the Service.
  • AI Content: Summaries, translations, rewrites (tone changes), and analyses generated by BeeFiny's Artificial Intelligence algorithms.

3. Description and Operation of the Service

3.1 News Aggregation

BeeFiny acts as a content aggregator. The Service indexes public links to news articles. BeeFiny claims no ownership rights to Third-Party Content. By clicking on a source link, the User leaves the BeeFiny environment to access the original publisher's site.

3.2 Artificial Intelligence Features

The Service uses advanced language models to process information. The User acknowledges that:

AI Disclaimer: AI is prone to errors, omissions, or "hallucinations" (generating false information). Summaries, translations, and tone changes are provided for informational and reading assistance purposes only. They do not replace reading the original article in any way.

BeeFiny shall not be liable for any misinterpretation generated by the AI.

4. Access and User Account

4.1 Eligibility

Use of the Service is reserved for persons aged 13 years or older (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to consent to the processing of personal data).

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials (email, password, access via social networks). Any action taken from your account is deemed to be taken by you. If you suspect hacking, you must inform us immediately.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 BeeFiny Premium

Some features (e.g., ad removal, unlimited AI tones) require a paid subscription.

5.2 Billing via the Stores

Transactions are managed exclusively by the download platforms (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). BeeFiny does not store any bank details.

  • Renewal: The subscription automatically renews 24 hours before its expiration.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel the renewal at any time via your Apple or Google account settings.
  • Refund: Refund requests must be addressed directly to the Store in question, according to their own terms and conditions of sale.

6. User Content and Conduct

6.1 License to your contributions

By posting comments or reactions on BeeFiny, you grant BeeFiny a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, and perpetual license to host, display, reproduce, and moderate this content as part of the Service.

6.2 Rules of conduct

It is strictly forbidden to publish content that is:

  • Illegal, defamatory, violent, obscene, or pornographic.
  • Inciting racial, religious, or sexual hatred.
  • Constitutes harassment or bullying.
  • Disclosing private information of others (doxxing).
  • Unsolicited advertising (spam).

BeeFiny reserves the right to remove any content and suspend any account that violates these rules, without notice or justification.

7. Intellectual Property

All elements of the Service (interface texts, graphics, logos, source code, databases) are the exclusive property of BeeFiny or its partners, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

Any automated extraction (scraping) of BeeFiny data is strictly prohibited without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Service provided "as is": BeeFiny does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the aggregated information. We are not responsible for the content published by the third-party sites to which the Service redirects.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BeeFiny disclaims all liability for any indirect damage, loss of data, or financial loss resulting from the use of or inability to use the Service.

9. Modifications to the TOS

BeeFiny reserves the right to modify these terms at any time to reflect legal or functional changes. Users will be notified of major updates via a notification in the application or by email.

10. Governing Law and Contact

These TOS are governed by the laws in force. Any dispute relating to their interpretation and/or execution shall fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
